Who controls your data
Theo Hackie, trading as THMS, is the data controller responsible for personal information collected through thms.in and THMS programmes. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to hello@thms.in.
Information we collect
We may collect your name, email address, phone number, billing details, professional background, programme preferences, application answers, support messages, attendance and learning records. We also receive technical information such as IP address, device and browser details, cookie identifiers, pages visited and security logs. Payment card, UPI and banking credentials are collected and processed by PhonePe, not stored by THMS.
How and why we use information
We use personal information to review applications, provide programmes, manage enrolments, issue invoices and certificates, respond to enquiries, prevent fraud, secure and improve our services, meet legal and tax obligations, and send marketing only where permitted. Our legal grounds include performing our contract with you, complying with law, our legitimate interests in operating and protecting THMS, and your consent where required.
Who we share information with
We share only what is necessary with service providers supporting hosting, communications, analytics, customer support and programme delivery; with PhonePe for payment processing, fraud prevention and transaction support; with professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers; and with authorities when required by law. We do not sell personal information.
Retention and international processing
We keep information only for as long as needed for the purposes described, including delivery of your programme, support, dispute handling, security, and legal, accounting or tax requirements. We then delete or anonymise it. Some service providers may process information outside India; where they do, we use contractual and other safeguards required by applicable law.
Your rights and choices
Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, update or delete your personal information, withdraw consent, opt out of marketing, or raise a grievance. Contact hello@thms.in and we will verify and respond to your request within the period required by law. You may also complain to the relevant data protection authority.
Cookies
THMS may use essential cookies needed for security and site operation, and analytics cookies to understand site use. You can block or delete cookies through your browser. Disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of the site or checkout from working correctly.
Security and updates
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including access controls and encrypted connections, to protect personal information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. We may update this notice when our services or legal duties change and will publish the revised date here.
